Shirley R Stitt, age 76, of Rio Grande died suddenly Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at AtlantiCare Medical Center - Mainland Division. Born in Pleasantville, NJ; she has been a life time area resident. Shirley was a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church of Goshen, NJ. She loved working in her yard and was a frequent visitor to the Shop-Rite in Rio Grande. Shirley was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years: LeRoy H. Stitt on 9/12/2012. Loved by her family and friends, she is survived by her daughters: Wendy (Timothy) Myers of Del Haven & Melody McQuillan of Rio Grande; her sisters: Judy (Ralph) Kelleher of CMCH,& Jill (Tom) Dermott of Rio Grande; and her brother Jack (Jackie) Justice of Eldora. Also surviving are her 5 grandchildren: Justin (Gabrielle) Vitola, Tyler Vitola, Sean McQuillan, Colleen McQuillan, & Kelly McQuillan; and her 3 great grandchildren: Justin, Sophia, & Jason.
