Gail A. Holmes-Reeves, age 78, of Cape May passed away Thursday, April 9, 2015 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Gail was born in West Cape May and has been a life-long area resident. She was a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star Cape May Chapter and the Golden Age Club of Wildwood. Gail was preceded in death by her first husband Charles "Bud" Holmes. She is survived by her second husband Mr. Gail A. Reeves and her daughter Charline (Michael) Holmes-McVey. Also surviving are her siblings: Pauline Levinson, Bruce Rutherford, Jane Williams, & Joy Depinho; and her grandchildren: Lauren (Zack Magnavita) McVey, Kristen McVey, & Edward McVey. There will be a funeral service at 11:00 AM on Monday, April 13, 2015 at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd, North Cape May, NJ 08204; where friends will be received from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Cold Spring Cemetery, 780 Seashore Rd, Cold Spring, NJ 08204. The family suggests donations in Gail's memory to Love of Linda Cancer Fund, PO Box 1053, Wildwood, NJ 08260.
