Joseph (Jay) Larkin, age 74, of Rio Grande, died peacefully Saturday, March 14, 2015 with his family at his bedside. Born in Lansdowne, PA he was raised in the Wildwood area and was a graduate from Wildwood High School. Jay was the owner of Larkin's Restaurant Wildwood , was a member of St. John Neumann Parish and the Knights of Columbus. Jay also loved collecting model trains, Hess Trucks, going to antique car shows and antique shopping. Surviving are his wife of 48 years, Kathleen (nee Malloy) and his loving son Joseph (Jay) , Jr .and his wife Dawn and daughter Colleen Green and her husband, Lee. He is also survived by his loving grandchildren Alyssa, Amanda, Erin, Leo and Jackson and his great grandson, Michael, and two brothers. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Thursday, March19th at 11:00 am in the Parish of St. John Neumann at St. Raymond's Church, Bayshore Rd. and Ocean Ave. Villas NJ. Friends will be received at the Church from 10:00am -11:00am. Interment is Private. In lieu of flowers donations to the Rio Grande Rescue Squad P.O. Box 406, Rio Grande, NJ 08242.
