James George Stamas, age 94, of Wildwood Crest passed away Sunday, February 1, 2015 at North Cape Center. James was born June 23, 1920 in Ashtabulah, OH. He is the son of the late George James and the late Sylvia (Demas) Stamatacos. He served his country in the military during World War II. He is survived by his wife: Amanda (Harris) Stamas, one daughter: Vicky Janice Stamas of Chevy Chase, MD and one son: George (Sharon Pelz) James Stamas of Towson, MD; along with one grandchild. A memorial service will be held at a later date in the Baltimore, MD area.
