Obituary of George Pavlou

Please share a memory of George to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
George Pavlou, March 21, 1929 to February 1, 2015; Hydra Island, Greece. It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of George Pavlou, owner of Snow White Restaurant at Lincoln Ave & Boardwalk in Wildwood, NJ. George is survived by his wife of 60 years, three children, and eight grandchildren. He will be greatly missed. Throughout his lifetime he served as a Merchant Marine, immigrated to the United States, and was the owner of several restaurants. He was a mentor and teacher to many people; including strangers, friends, colleagues, and family members. He had a passion for making people laugh through his countless zany anecdotes and his crazy sense of humor. Good times were never too far behind him. George was a lover of all animals and was often seen with his beloved dog friend Chuppie by his side. George was a hard working man driven by a profound relentless dedication not only to the many businesses he owned, but to his family as well. It is with all of these things in our minds and hearts that we say with the utmost respect and love, goodbye to you Mr. George. May your memory be eternal. There will be a funeral service at 12:00 noon on Friday February 6, 2015 at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 321 Saint Demetrios Ave, Wildwood, NJ 08260; where friends will be received from 11:00 AM to 12:00 noon. Interment will be private.
