William R Bradley, age 79, of Villas, NJ passed away peacefully Saturday, January 24, 2015 at his home surrounded by family. Mr. Bradley was born February 26, 1935 in Philadelphia, PA; formerly lived in Haddon Township, NJ; and has been a Cape May area resident since 2003. He was a Master Carpenter and retired in 1995. Mr. Bradley was a charter member of the St Vincent Pallotti Parish in the Haddonfield area and is a current member of the Parish of St John Neumann attending St John of God RC Church. He was active in the St Vincent Pallotti Men's Club and coached baseball in the Haddon Township Athletic Assoc. Mr. Bradley was an avid golfer, having been a member of the Merchantville Country Club. William was preceded in death by his sister Helen Dever. He is survived by his wife: Geraldine "Gerry" (nee Buggy) Bradley; two daughters: Geraldine Bradley & Kelly Givens; and two sons: William Bradley & Michael Bradley. Also surviving are: two sisters: Catherine Kain & Dorothy Schmidt; one brother: James Bradley; 10 grandchildren; and 1 great grandchild; and also a sister-in-law Kathy Hammond and husband Don Hammond. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, January 30, 2015 at the Parish of St John Neumann, St John of God RC Church, 680 Townbank Rd, North Cape May, NJ 08204; where friends will be received from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Burial of ashes will follow at St Elizabeth's Cemetery, Route 47, Goshen, NJ 08218. The family suggests donations in William's memory to Holy Redeemer Hospice, 1801 Route 9 South, Swainton, NJ 08210.
