Robert B Bishop, age 82, of Villas passed away on Thursday, October 2, 2014 at his home. Born on April 10, 1932 in Camden, NJ Robert was a proud military man, having served in the US Army from 1948-1972, attaining the rank of Sgt. 1st Class (E-7) and serving two tours in the Vietnam War. He was a member of an F&AM Masonic Lodge in Kentucky. Upon his retirement from the military, Robert settled with his family in Villas, NJ. An avid outdoorsman who loved fishing and camping with his family, Robert was a regular at Budd's Tackle, where he built and repaired countless fishing rods. Robert was preceded in death by his wife Frances (2001) and son Robert Jr. (2012). He is survived by a son Christopher Bishop and his spouse Heide Decker of Salisbury, MD, a daughter-in-law Laura Bishop; two grandchildren: Amanda and Daniel Bishop; and three sisters: Jane, Betty and Peggy.
