Mr. Wayne D. Ingling, 90, Villas NJ, entered the gates of Heaven on Saturday, February 24th in his home in Villas where he had resided since 1981. Born in Camden, he was the son of the late Albertus and Josphine (Proietta) Ingling, he grew up in Brooklawn and graduated from Gloucester High School in 1952. He also lived in Audubon for many years with his family. Wayne proudly served in the United States Army, United States Air Force and retired from the US Navy with 21 years of service. He served during the Korean War and was stationed in Panama. He was proud to be able to protect and serve his country. Wayne was a member of the Civil Air Patrol for 50 years retiring as a Major. A spiritual man, Wayne had a great belief in God. He was active in Bible Study and was a member of Holy Spirit Lutheran Church, Villas and Marantha Church, Erma. He also enjoyed buying cars, building model airplanes, bowling, traveling and enjoyed a good political debate. A 25-year employee of Blitz' Deli, Ocean City NJ retiring at age 89. He also worked for Richman's Ice Cream, Johanna Farms and Lehigh Dairy; but his family and friends most remember him as the milkman. For many years Wayne would deliver fresh milk to many families and customers. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 46 years Mary E. (Hogentogler) Ingling (February 4, 2012), a son William L. Roll and a granddaughter Mikaela Elizabeth Jensen. Wayne leaves behind a legacy in his children Timothy Ingling husband of Christine, Kathy Deluca, Nancy Jensen wife of Bruce, Christine Basco wife of Robert Sr., Robert Roll husband of Faith, Maryann Breden wife of Stephen, and Barbara Jean Aanerud wife of Gary. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, Melissa, Katie, Mason, Kevin, Paige, Cassandra, Jack, Joseph, Caleigh, Deanna, Anthony, Olivia, Kayla, James II, and Robert Jr.; and 12 great-grandchildren, Michael, William, Stephen, Chance, Mary J, James J, Cameron, Anya, Calypso, James III, Ryder, and Kilian. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects (Visitation) Saturday March 2nd from 9:30AM -11:00AM at Holy Spirit Lutheran Church 1200 Bayshore Road, Villas. Services to immediately following at 11AM. Interment with Military Honors will be held on the grounds of the Cape May County Veteran's Cemetery following the services open to all. A luncheon in his honor to follow at Holy Spirit Lutheran Church after the interment ceremony.
