Obituary of Claire Erlandson

Claire Marie Erlandson, age 91 of Severna Park MD, entered into eternal rest Friday evening, September 1 at Anne Arundel Medical Center, Annapolis MD. She is formerly from Falls Church, VA and Cape May Point, NJ. Born June 3, 1932 in Belmont Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late James Milton and Mary Rose (Forrestall) Macdonald. She was employed as a kindergarten teacher in the Fairfax County School District. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband the late Richard Erlandson (October 27, 2020) and her brother Paul Macdonald. Claire is survived by her daughters, Beth (Harry) Handlin and Lee Cathrall, and her son Todd (Laura) Erlandson. Affectionately known as Nana to her 7 grandchildren: Victoria, Rory, Amy, Stacy, Christine, Nathan and Alicia, as well as 6 great grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother Kelvin Macdonald and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held on the grounds of St. Mary Cemetery at the family's convenience.
