Eckel, William J. – 54 of Marathon Florida passed away peacefully
At the Victoria Manor Nursing Home on September 6, 2017 after a
very long battle with ALS (Lou Gehrigs Disease). Bill Was a Marine Mechanic by trade, having grown up in the Cape May area and graduated from Lower Cape May Regional High School.
Bill worked for several marine service facilities in the Cape May area
Before moving to Marathon Florida.
Bill leaves behind his Mother Marjorie Eckel, brothers Bud Eckel(Cherie),
Thomas Eckel(Sabina) and Rob Eckel(Carrie) his Sister Marjorie Dietterich
(Jim) Along with three son's, Mark, Frank and Sean. Bill is predeceased by
his son Brady. Services will be private and his ashes returned to Marathon Florida to
a place that he loved at his request. In lieu of flowers please consider making donations to Holy Redeemer Hospice 1801 Route 9 North, Swainton, NJ 08210
