Alice C. Mendyk, age 73, of Cape May passed away peacefully Thursday, June 29, 2017 at North Cape Center. Alice was born November 11, 1943 in Passaic, NJ, but has been a Cape May area resident for over 40 years. She is the daughter of the late Martin and the late Caroline (Stark) DeVries. Alice was employed by Lower Cape Regional School District in Food Service as an Assistant Cook for 23 years. She is survived by her husband of 47 years: Tony Mendyk and her two sons: Anthony (Lauren) Mendyk of Ocean View, NJ and Edward Mendyk of North Cape May, NJ. Also surviving are five grandchildren: Carley, Casey, Chase, Joshua & Zachary. There will be a funeral at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd, N Cape May, NJ 08204; where friends will be received from 2:00 to 3:00 PM.
