. Jim Brannan, age 67, of Lower Township passed away March 16, 2017 surrounded by his family. He was a life-long resident. Jim was a retired Union Carpenter of Local 1743. He graduated from Lower Cape May Regional High School, was an Eagle Scout, and then served in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam. He was a generous man, often described as a gentle giant, who touched many people throughout his life and was adored by his family. He is survived his loving wife of 42 years, Judy, and his children Joe Buehler, Sharon Yarwasky (Randy Yarwasky), and Megan Brannon. He is also survived by his 3 grandchildren, Joshua Scybert, Carly and Colin McGinn. Survived, too, by his Mother Julie Brannan, and siblings; sisters Martha Powell (David Powell, Mary Long (Bruce Long), Julie Rauch (Dan Rauch) and Patrick Brannan (Denise Brannon). A Celebration of Life service will be on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 4:00-5:00 PM at the Holy Spirit Lutheran Church 1220 Bayshore Road Villas NJ., where friends may call from 3:00 – 4:00PM. Burial will be private in Cold Spring Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Hold Spirit Lutheran Church or Family Promise of North Cape May would be appreciated.
