Obituary of Martha A Browning

Martha Ann (nee Lane) Browning, age 89, of Cape May passed away Saturday, November 26, 2016 at Victoria Manor of North Cape May, NJ. Mrs. Browning retired in 1997 from Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital where she was a nurse in various departments, most recently, Maternity and Pediatrics. She was the past President of the Cape May County and New Jersey A.R.C., with a history of tenaciously and tirelessly advocating for the rights of special needs individuals. Born in Hagerstown, MD, she was a resident of the Cape May area for 61 years. Marcie was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Jerry Browning. She is survived by her 3 daughters, 3 sons, 12 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. There are no memorial services scheduled and a private burial is under the direction of the Evoy Funeral Home, North Cape May.
