Marjorie L Waters, age 89, of Cape May passed away peacefully Sunday, October 16, 2016 at her home. Marjorie was born September 27, 1927 in Pittsburgh, Pa; formerly lived in Margate, NJ; and has been a Cape May area resident since 1989. She is the daughter of the late Merrill W Means and Eleanor (Shields) Means. Marjorie worked for the Atlantic City Convention Bureau for several years. She was a musician, artist, and avid reader who loved the beautiful moments and the simple joys of life. She will be deeply missed by her daughter Laura Ernst, to whom she gave her remarkable perspective, loving attention, and strength. Also surviving is her son-in-law Peter Ernst. Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband Russell Waters in 2005. Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
