Obituary of Robert Francis Jacobs

Robert F. Jacobs, age 86, of North Cape May passed away Saturday, September 17, 2016 at his home surrounded by his family. Robert was born November 12, 1929 in Bloomfield, NJ. He served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. Robert has lived in the Cape May area fulltime for the past 21years having owned property there since 1946. He was formerly of Parsippany, NJ. Robert was a member of the United Methodist Men and has served in various positions in several different churches. Robert was preceded in death by his parents Francis and Johanna Jacobs. He is survived by his wife of 62 years: Lois E (nee Niles) Jacobs; four daughters: Marion Parsons, of FL; Susan Denecke, of North Cape May, NJ; Elizabeth Sork , of MD; and Roberta Scoblick; of NC. Also surviving are: two brothers Joel and Bruce Jacobs; five grandchildren and other extended family and friends. A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 AM on Thursday, September 22, 2016 at the Cape May United Methodist Church, 635 Washington Street, Cape May. Relatives and friends will be received at the church from 10 to 11 AM.
