Theresa C Roberts, age 92, of Villas passed away peacefully Saturday, July 16, 2016 at Samaritan Hospice of Mount Holly Township, NJ. Theresa was born October 20, 1923 in Philadelphia, PA; formerly lived in North East Philly and the Cramer Hill Section of Camden, NJ; she summered here since 1952 becoming a full time Cape May area resident 1974. She is the daughter of the late Russell Leo and the late Margaret V (Cummings) West. Theresa was a Press Operator with the Budd Company of Philadelphia during World War II, and later worked for several Motels in the Wildwood area. She attended the Villa's Senior Center regularly and enjoyed visiting with friends there. Theresa was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Roberts on 03/19/1993. She is survived by one daughter: Doris (Phil) Short of Wenonah, NJ and one son: Joseph (Gloria Walsh) D Roberts of Manchester, CT. Also surviving are two grandchildren: Kaylen M Short & Kameryn D Short; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. There will be a funeral service at 3:00 PM on Friday, July 22, 2106 at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd, North Cape May, NJ 08204; where friends will be received from 1:30 to 3:00 PM. Interment will follow at Cape May County Veteran's Cemetery, 127 Crest Haven Rd, Cape May Court House, NJ 08210. To share condolences, please visit www.evofuneralhome.com.
