Emma Lazaruk, age 84, of Villas passed away Sunday, October 11, 2015 at her home. Emma was born June 9, 1931 in Palmyra, NJ, lived in Riverside, NJ, and has been a Cape May area resident for over 20 years. She is the daughter of the late Theodore and the late Jennie (nee Rump) DeVinney. Emma was a Billing Supervisor for MacMillan Publishing Co. of Delran, NJ until retiring after 20 years service. She was a past Treasurer of the Ladies Auxiliary for VFW Post 5343 of Villas; and was active in her church serving as Choir Director at Holy Spirit Lutheran Church in Villas. Emma was also an avid Bingo player. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Albert "Tippy" Lazaruk in 2003. Emma is survived by her son Bruce G (Robyn) Lazaruk of Villas, NJ; her daughter Linda (Rob) Wentz of Leola, PA; and her five grandchildren: Brian Lazaruk, Lauren (John) Schmidt, Steven Wentz, Chris Wentz, & Dana Wentz. There will be a funeral service at 12:00 PM on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at Holy Spirit Lutheran Church, 1220 Bayshore Rd, Villas, NJ 08251; where friends will be received from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
