Obituary of Robert M. Denny

Robert M. Denny, 84, of Erma passed away on Saturday, August 8, 2015 at home. Bob was a life long resident of Cape May and Lower Township. Chief Denny spent the better part of four decades with the Lower Township Police Department, retiring in 1991. Colonel Denny retired from the United States Army that same year, having served in the New Jersey National Guard, and the Army Reserve, Chief Denny was predeceased by his son Ronald. He is survived by his wife Audrey, son Robert Jr., daughter Audrey and her children, Corinne, Jimmy and Ryan, great-grandchildren Bryson, Kayden, Evangeline, Draven and Xavier; Ronald's son, Ronald Jr. and daughters Mindy and Christy and great-grandchildren Ava, Mia, Lacy, Aubrey and Brianna. A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday 12 Noon at the Evoy funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Road, North Cape May where a viewing will be held from 10:00 to 12 Noon. .Burial will be in Cold Spring Cemetery, Contributions in his memory may be made to the Lower Twp.
