Lawrence W. Chalfont, Sr., 82, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on August 23, 2026.
Lawrence will be deeply missed by his beloved wife, Karen (McManus) Chalfant, his two sons, Larry Chalfant (Jen) and Jon Chalfant (Robyn); and his grandson, Zach. He is also survived by his step-daughters, their children, and great-grandchildren, all of whom were an important part of his life and family.
He was predeceased by his parents, Lincoln and Loro Chalfant, and his sister, Lucille.
After graduating from high school, Larry served in the United States Air Force. When he returned home, he joined the Haverford Township Police Department and volunteered with the Lianerch Fire Company.
Larry loved the Eagles, Phillies, and really bad jokes.
Raise a glass to him and ”remember to tip your bartender”.
Services for Larry are being held privately.
