Bergeron, Carol age 78 of Erma passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 29th, 2026. 

Carol was born in Trenton, NJ on December 18th, 1947. She graduated from Hamilton High School West in 1966. She was an entrepreneur and worked in her family’s business, Mario’s Pizza in Trenton, NJ. Carol moved to Wildwood in 1966 and continued to work for her family’s business. Eventually Carol would open her own businesses, Victorian Chocolates in Cape May and The Cooks Shop on the Wildwood Boardwalk. 

Carol enjoyed reading, writing, going to the cinema, dining out, and watching current events; She loved her country.

She was a member of the Parish of Notre Dame De La Mer and attended The Church of the Assumption in Wildwood. Carol was an outgoing person  with a smile for everyone. She was a beloved mother, sister, and was loved by so many.

Carol is predeceased by her parents Mario and Ada Orsi.

She leaves behind her loving son, Marc Bergeron, Her brother Daniel Orsi and sister Elain Orsi, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins. 

A viewing for Carol will be held at The Church of the Assumption on Tuesday, August 4th from 10:00 to 11:00 with the Mass of Christian starting at 11:00. A procession from the Church will follow Mass with the burial taking place at St. Mary’s Cemetery at 1056 Seashore Rd. Cape May NJ. 08204
