It is with great sadness the family of Debra L. Stackhouse announces her passing on Saturday, July 18th at Cooper University Hospital- Camden.

A lifelong resident of Cape May County, Debra was born June 19, 1959 in Cape May Court House to the late John M. and Shirley (Rich) Stackhouse.  She was a 1977 graduate of Middle Twp. High School.

Debra had a passion for horticulture and gardening.  She could be found in her yard tending to her annuals and perennials.  She was well known at local garden centers, especially Secluded Acres, where she had worked.

In her younger years, she enjoyed traveling and exploring different areas of the United States, including Arizona and Nevada.  She also enjoyed her trips to the beach and riding her bike and even her son’s motorcycles.

She will be deeply missed by her sons Jonathan, Douglas Derick and Dylan Stackhouse; her grandchildren who were the lights of her life Nathaniel, Stephen, Jackson, Novalynn and Reed. She is also survived by her siblings John Stackhouse and Brook Blizzard.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, July 23rd at 11AM at Evoy Funeral Home 3218 Bayshore Road North Cape May NJ 08204.  Family and friends are invited to pay their respects from 10AM until the time of service.  Interment will be held on the grounds of Cold Spring Cemetery.
