Anne P. "Patsy" McGinn Obituary

Anne P. McGinn (Dean}, 87, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on February 04, 2026 at her son's home in Pitman, NJ. Anne was born in Philadelphia, PA to parents Andrew and Mary Dean. Anne grew up in Northeast Philly graduating from St. Hubert's Catholic School in 1956. She would go on to graduate from Misericordia Nursing School. She moved her family to the Cape May Beach area in 1975 where she worked as a nurse in the ICU at then Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital in Cape May Court House. After retirement she moved to Port Isabel, Texas until moving back to NJ for the last year. Anne was a member of St. John of God Church in North Cape May and Our Lady Star of the Sea in Texas. She was a member of the Cape May County Nursing Association. She enjoyed traveling, spending time with her family, volunteering at the church, and was always the best dressed in any room she stepped in showing off her flare and artistic nature.


Predeceased by her husband Patrick McGinn, parents Andrew and Mary Dean, sisters Mary Lynn Pello and Barbara Boyle and longtime companion John "Jack" Goslin.


Anne is survived by her children Maryellen McGinn, Patrick(Eve) McGinn, Andrew(Debbie) McGinn, Bartholomew(Andrea) McGinn and Daniel(Patty) McGinn, grandchildren Stephen(Shoshanna) McGinn, Kayla McGinn, Amanda(Pat) Ferry, Andrew(Heidi) McGinn, Steven(Amy Hunt) Johnson, Erica(Joe) Casiano, Carly McGinn, Colin McGinn, Emily Poore, Patrick McGinn, Liam McGinn and Ellen McGinn and great grandchildren Wyatt, Anderson, Jayce, Maelyn, Jillian, and Raegan.


Anne's family welcomes friends and loved ones to visit from 10-11, with a Memorial Mass starting at 11 on June 13th, at St. John of God, 680 Townbank Road, N. Cape May, NJ.
