Karen returned to her Lord on May 8, 2026 after a long battle with cancer. Karen was born February 24,1953 in Philadelphia, PA to Daniel J. and Joyce A. Maher, the 2nd of 6 children. She grew up in West Deptford,N.J. and graduated from West Deptford High School. She worked in the Insurance field and moved to Boyertown PA, and then to Steubenville,Ohio. She moved back to West Deptford where she met her husband of over 37 years, Franklin Pierce. She worked as a nanny to 3 of her nephews, then worked for South Jersey Radiology from where she retired after 17 years.

Karen is predeceased by her parents and her older Brother Daniel “Skip” Maher. She is survived by her husband Frank and furbaby Suzie, sister Joyce, brother Tom Maher(Sharon), brother Tim Maher (Debbie), brother Jerry Maher (Michelle), and Sister-in-law Elsie Maher, 8 nephews, 1 niece, 2 grand nephews and 4 grand nieces.

A private memorial service will be held for her family at a later date.
