Ridgeley P. Ware (Phil) age 72 of North Cape May, NJ passed away on Thursday, May 7, 2026 at Cooper Medical Center, Cape May Court House, NJ.

Phil was born in Rochester, NY. He was the son of Ridgeley Sr. and Phyllis Scoe and the step son of Lynnan Burkett Ware.

He was a graduate of Moorestown High School, class of 1971.  Phil was a self employed Title Searcher in Camden County, N.J.

Phil was a cherished active member of the community. He was a member and former Trustee of the Villas Fishing Club, The Greater Cape May Elks #2839, Seniors Citizens of North Cape May, and Stella Maris Home Association.  He was a former member of the VFW in Villas and Moose Lodge in Erma.

He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years Stephanie nee Barisewicz, his brothers Chris (Diane) and Randy (Rebecca), his four nieces Elise, Gayle, Victoria and Nicole as well as his two nephews Jason and Matthew.
