Lorraine was born and raised in Philadelphia where she enjoyed her childhood years and received her education. Lorraine gave her daughter her Catholic faith which was something she did not have in her younger life. Lorraine liked to cook and bake. Being from Philadelphia she liked music and was a fan of the Mummers String Bands and her all time favorite Philadelphia Phillies.

In 1988 along with her husband they began a new chapter in their life making the Villas their home. Many years ago she worked at the Marquis de Lafayette and Captain May’s bed and breakfast in Cape May. Lorraine was a kind, compassionate caring person. She was a good daughter, a good wife, a good mother and good to her grandchildren. She was person who deprived herself for the needs of her family and others.

She is survived by her daughter Colleen Grahl Thomas her grandchildren Lorraine H. Ayala and Daniel J. Grahl, her two great granddaughters Alexis M. Ayala and Allison T. Grahl, her great great granddaughter Stella R. Taylor.

In lieu of flowers, if you can find it in your heart to contact Lower Township’s District Congressman either by email, phone or a note asking him to propose legislation to change the elder abuse law it would be appreciated.
