Joseph R. DellaPenna Obituary

Joseph R. DellaPenna passed away April 8th, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. Joe was born on October 21st, 1953, in Port Richmond, Philadelphia and spent his life as a proud member of the Boilermakers, Local 13 and a long-standing member of AA.


Joe is survived by his lifelong love, partner and soulmate Denise and his children Joseph (Kelliann), Rachel Kaminski (Jay), Daniel (Sarah) and Pop of Pops to grandchildren Emma and Mike Kaminski. Sisters Cheryl Royal (Mike), Carol DellaPenna (Jeffery) and Jeffery DellaPenna (Barbaranne) and numerous nephews and nieces.


Joe is predeceased by his parents Carmen and Jane in addition to his brother Mike (Marge).


Joe loved being in company of family and friends and having laughs with the Riley clan. He had an insatiable love of books and has a storage unit to prove it.


Anyone who knew Joe appreciated his sharp sense of humor and his witty comebacks.


Family and friends are invited to pay their respects 1PM Monday, April 13th at Evoy Funeral Homes, Inc., 3218 Bayshore Road North Cape May NJ 08204. Any donations would be appreciated to your local homeless shelter or Autism Self Advocacy Network (ASAN) @ Autisticadvocacy.org.


Joe will be sorely missed by all who were lucky enough to know him.
