Charles J. Manley age 85 of Villas, NJ passed away on Tuesday March 24, 2026 at the Cooper University Hospital Cape Regional in Cape May Court House after a brief illness. Charles was born in Philadelphia, PA and formerly had lived in the Roxborough and South West Philadelphia sections. He and his wife summered in the Villas from 1998 and moved to the Villas permanently in 2003. Charles earned a Bachelor’s Degree from St. Joseph's University in Philadelphia, PA.  He served in the Air Force reserves for six years. Charles was a self-employed Auto Parts Repairman and had worked in Sales for Getty Oil in Maryland. He enjoyed music, playing chess and playing Tennis. He belonged to the Lower Twp Chess Club and the Cape May Tennis Club.

Charles was married to Alice (nee Gray) Manley for 62 1/2 years. He also leaves three children, Charles Manley Mary Lynn (Anthony) Capece and Joan Marie Manley; eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents William and Loretta Manley; siblings, William Manley, James Manley, Francis Manley and Katherine Crawford.

Private Funeral Services were held on Tuesday March 31, 2026 at St. John Neumann Parish/St. John of God Church, North Cape May. Burial was private.
