It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Sundre “Sunny” Strowbridge, 59, formerly of Union and Bergen Counties, on March 23, 2026. She was born in Elizabeth, NJ on January 30th, 1967, to Stanley and Pamela Strowbridge and grew up in Linden, NJ.

Sunny spent her life's work as a mortician until she retired in 2009. With her free time, she volunteered in EMS. She liked to sit outside and listen to yacht rock. She enjoyed watching The Jets, but even more, she loved cheering on her favorite baseball team, The Boston Red Sox.

Sunny will be greatly missed by her three children, Mandy Retcho, Jesse Retcho, and Kara Retcho (lain Tyler) and their father Steve; her two grandchildren: Lucia and Gianna; her dear friends, Marylou and Peter; and her cherished dogs, Stinky and Oliver, Maltese mixes who were beloved companions.

Sunny’s funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.
