Phyllis Eleanor Cardaci age 91 of Erma passed away peacefully at her home with her family by her side on Tuesday, March 24, 2026.  She was born on February 2, 1935 in Philadelphia, PA.  Phyllis graduated high school,  Wildwood High Class of 1953 and had worked for Snow’s Canning Company, Lower Twp. as a secretary.  Her and her late husband enjoyed traveling the county and camping in their RV.  She enjoyed making Christmas stockings for all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Phyllis was a past member of Seashore Community Church of the Nazarene in Erma.  Once she was unable to attend church she hosted a weekly Bible Study at her home.  The Bible Study was attended by Pastor Scott Durbin, Becky, Sue, Diane, Dory, Marie, and Joan.  She was quick to identify the scripture, book, chapter and verse.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Cardaci (1987); children, Gene Cardaci and Gia Cornell; parents Arthur and Clara Franke.   She is survived by her children; Gary (Beverly) Cardaci, Gail (Gus) Tripet, Gregg (Linda) Cardaci, Gina Cardaci and Marie LoMonaca.  She will also be sadly missed by 13 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to Phyllis’s visitation from 10 to 11 AM on Saturday, March 28, 2026 at the Evoy Funeral Home. 3218 Bayshore Road, North Cape May, NJ 08204.  The visitation will be followed by a service at 11 am at the funeral home and committal service at the Cold Spring Cemetery.
