With hearts full of love and sorrow we share that our beloved mother, Joan Forman Rockafellow received her angel wings. She gave us her final smile – unafraid and with an open heart – surrounded by her loving daughters on March 21, 2026, at the age of 93. A woman of extraordinary beauty, strength, grace and spirit of adventure.

Joan built a life defined by devotion. She was a devoted mother, daughter, sister, friend and devoted to her late husband, John D. Rockafellow, Jr., the love of her life. For years they enjoyed traveling the country to visit children, grandchildren and play golf. A proud and loving mother of four daughters, Donna Ely, Janice Sutton, Cholette Mayer (Jeff) and Joni Clickner (Dooley); a doting, fun grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother; and a generous friend to many.

Predeceased by her parents, Curtis & Adeline Forman, two brothers, Curtis & Albert, and sister Gail Eldridge. Joan is survived by five grandchildren; Kimberlee Greene, Todd Sutton, Jennah Irwin, Curtis Mayer and Kerry Bunting. Eight great grandchildren and one great- great grandchild. Beloved Nieces;Kristin Moore, Kelly Wysokowski, Karen Clintock and one nephew Jeff Forman, and her loving friend Rosie Dunn.

Celebration of life will take place at the Overlook in the Cape May Lewes Ferry Terminal on March 29, 2026. 1200 Lincoln Blvd, North Cape May. Prayer at 11:00 a.m.; Visitation 11:30 a.m.-2:00 p.m.
