Regina Agnes Berry Obituary

Regina Agnes Berry, age 103, passed away peacefully on March 10, 2026, in Dunedin, Florida.

Regina was born on November 16, 1922, in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, to Helen Hartz and James McDonald. She was raised at Saint Vincent de Paul Home and attended West Catholic Girls High School in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

In 1947, she married Anthony Francis Berry. Their marriage was a loving partnership that lasted until his passing on March 20, 1958.

Regina is survived by her children: Jean Marie Flickinger (Ken), Betty Anne Cappelletti (John), and Anthony Berry (Sofia).

Affectionately known as “Mom Mom,” Regina was blessed with seven grandchildren: Jennifer, Colleen, Michael (Marjorie), Nicholas (Elizabeth), John, Thomas, and Joseph (Meg). She was also the proud great-grandmother of ten great-grandchildren: Lily, Finn, Alyna, Naomi, Elianna, Violet, Gia, Anthony, John, and Katie.

Regina was a woman of deep and abiding faith. After retiring, she devoted much of her time to St. John Neumann Church, where she was an active and dedicated member of the parish community. She served with the Legion of Mary, the Christ Child Society, and Saint Vincent de Paul Society, was a Eucharistic Minister, a member of the pastoral fund committee, and managed bookkeeping responsibilities while representing the parish for the Bishop’s Annual Appeal. Inspired by her love of music, she also joined the church choir.

In addition to her devotion to her family and faith, Regina enjoyed music throughout her life. She loved playing the harmonica and, in her seventies, began taking piano lessons, embracing the joy of learning something new.

Regina’s legacy of faith, love, and devotion to family will live on through her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was deeply loved and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

A Requiem Mass will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at St. John Neumann Catholic Church on Town Bank Road in Cape May, New Jersey. All are welcome to attend and celebrate her life.  Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects from 10AM until 10:50AM at the Church prior to Mass.  Interment will be held 11AM Monday, March 23 on the grounds of Holy Cross Cemetery 626 Baily Road Yeadon PA 19050.
