Albert L. Deissroth Obituary

Albert L. Deissroth Sr. age 93, of Wildwood passed away on Monday, February 23, 2026. He was formerly of South Philadelphia, PA.


Albert had worked as a machinist and last worked for Honeywell in Philadelphia. He served in the US Army driving tanks during the Korean War. Albert was a lifelong mummer and enjoyed fishing, listening to music (especially 40’s music), listening to Phillies baseball, doing puzzles, spending time with grandchildren and enjoying a Miller High Life.


He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Barbara (Sept. 2025) and his parents William and Marie Deissroth. He is survived by his three sons; Edward (Marie) of Camp Hill, PA, Robert (Maria) of Wildwood Crest and Albert Jr. (Diane) of Sewell, NJ, a sister Florence Schlemback; six grandchildren, Bob, Colin, Grace, Cara, Michael and Rachel; he also leaves numerous great-grandchildren.


A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 AM on Friday, February 27, 2026 at Notre Dame de la Mer Parish, Assumption Church, 7100 Seaview Avenue, Wildwood Crest, NJ where relatives and friends will be received from 10:00 - 10:50 AM.
