Helen E. Thompson, age 68 passed away on Saturday February 14, 2026 at her home. Helen was a lifelong Cape May Co. resident. She was a licensed Barber and owned and operated Rio Clipper in Rio Grande, NJ for over 25 years. In more recent years she had worked for the Wawa in Villas for about 4 years.

Helen enjoyed caring for animals including taking in rescues. She also enjoyed feeding the squirrels.  

Helen leaved behind her loving son Garrett Thompson of Green Creek, NJ and a few nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Josef and Helen Remesi and her brother Gary.

A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, February 25, 2026 at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Road, North Cape May, NJ. Relatives and friends will be received from 10 to 11 AM at the funeral home.
