Christine V. Shoczolek Obituary

Christine V. Shoczolek, 76, of North Cape May, New Jersey passed away peacefully at her home on January 27, 2026, surrounded by her family.

Chris was a woman whose presence was deeply felt by those who knew her. She lived with strength, compassion, and a quiet resilience that carried her through life’s joys and hardships alike. Above all else, she loved her family fiercely and gave of herself without hesitation.

Those closest to Chris will remember her for her warmth, her devotion, and the way she showed up - steadily, loyally, and with a love that did not waver. She had a gift for making others feel cared for, whether through her words, her actions, or simply by being there when it mattered most.

Chris is survived by her husband of 57 years, Walter (Wally) Shoczolek; her son, Paul Shoczolek, and his wife Jennifer; her daughter, Wendy Griffiths, and her husband Robbie; and her cherished grandchildren, Emma and Landon.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Grace Costa; her aunt, Lillian Parsons; and her brothers, Ralph Costa and Thomas Costa.

Chris leaves behind a legacy of love, perseverance, and deep connection. Her impact will continue to be felt in the lives she touched and in the memories carried forward by those who loved her.

She will be remembered always and missed beyond measure.

Visitation will be held on Monday, February 2, 2026, from 10AM to 11AM at Evoy Funeral Home, Inc. 3218 Bayshore Road North Cape May NJ 08204, with a memorial service immediately following. Burial will take place at Cold Spring Cemetery.
