Janice T Harron Obituary

Harron, Janice T. (Hinke) passed away peacefully on January 26, 2026 in her home with her loving family by her side. She was born in her family home on Pine Avenue in Wildwood NJ where she loved growing up and had fond memories with her 7 siblings in that house. She met the love of her life Michael J Harron Jr. and they married on February 7, 1959. She loved going to concerts at the ferry and to sing and dance and would sing little ditties to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren like “Old man Kelly had a pimple on his belly”. One of her favorites in music was Frank Sinatra, on Broadway shows Jersey Boys and TV shows like The Waltons and Little House on the Prairie where she would sing all the shows themes. She Loved cruises and vacations with her family. She had a loving and kind heart and never spoke an unkind word to anyone. She would always greet you with a loving smile and a kind word. She had a wonderful sense of humor and loved when her family played practical on her and took it with a big heart. She enjoyed her job at Rite Aid along with playing her own versions of musical chairs sitting outside following the sun and always rearraigning furniture in her living room.


Janice was predeceased by her husband of 30 years Michael J Harron Jr, daughter Janice T Harron, sisters Margaret (Margie) Bell, Doris (Dee) Shoffler, Kathleen (Pippie) Nordaby, brothers William (Billy) Hinke, John (Jackie) Hinke, Richard (Rich) Hinke, and Robert (Bobby) Hinke.


She is survived by 6 Children Michael J (Bridget) Harron III, William (Lori) Harron, John (Sandra) Harron, Richard (Margaret) Harron, JoAnne (Howard) Bailey, and Kathy Harron.


She is survived by 20 grandchildren Rebecca (John) Mulhern, Michael (Elizabeth) Harron IV, Christopher (Heather Lucadema) Harron, Admanda (Christopher) Adams, Matthew (Jayde Essex) Harron, Sean (FarrahAnne) Harron, Alisha (Nathan) Boden, Angela (Stephen) Boyes, Gregory (Keri) Harron, Cori Harron, Stephanie (Ryan) Billy, Michael (Erica) McCleary, Chandler Nicas, Rhiannon Nicas, Richard (Kristen) Harron Jr, Bryan (Erica Sutherland) Harron, Melissa (Nicholas) Jasinski, Heather Bailey, Daniel (Melissa) Payne, and Mark (Elizabeth) Manganello.


19 great-grandchildren Luke Mulhern, Kacie Mulhern, Murphy Harron, Lily Adams, Michael Harron V, Gabe Boden, Emily Boden, Trevor Harron, Austin Harron, Jaxon Harron, Niko McCleary, Ronin McCleary, Richard Harron, Payton Harron, Brook Harron, Brynn Harron, Aksel Harron, Elizabeth Payne, Jason Payne.


Funeral Services will be held  11AM Friday, January 30 at Evoy Funeral Home 3218 Bayshore Road North Cape May NJ.  Family and friends are invited to pay their respects from 9-time of service.  Interment will be held on the grounds of Cold Spring Cemetery.
