William Michael Rott, age 64  of Defuniak Springs , Florida passed away on November 27, 2025.  He was formerly of North Cape May, NJ

William was born March 14, 1961 in San Bernadino, California.  He had worked as a commercial fisherman and as a cook at many establishments in the Cape May area.  He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, traveling and playing golf.

William was preceded in death by his parents Rosemary Graves and Andrew Rott and a brother Andrew Rott.   He is survived by two children, Crystal (Josh) Jacoby and Brandon Rott; grandchildren, Jaxon Jacoby and Brandon Jr. and Joseph Rott; siblings Rose Hair, George (Kelly) Rott and Thomas Rott. He also leaves several nieces and nephews and his loyal companion Precious.

A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 AM on Thursday, January 15, 2026 at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Road, North Cape May, NJ where relatives and friends will be received from 10 to 11 AM.
