Mary Ann McCool Obituary

Mary Ann (nee Krupsha) McCool, passed away peacefully on December 19th, 2025. Beloved wife of the late Robert. Loving sister of Sharon Anderson (Ed), Nancy Slook (George), Janet Delaney (Dennis), Michael Krupsha (Lilly) and the late Bonnie Duffy (John, deceased). She is survived by 8 stepchildren and many beloved nieces and nephews.


She met and married her husband, Robert McCool on July 31st,1993. They enjoyed traveling to Ireland, Europe, and going on cruises. Mary Ann and Bob were snow birds and spent many happy winters at their home in Florida. Mary Ann worked in a supervisory position at Jeanes Hospital in Philadelphia in the Registration department for many years. After moving to Cape May, she worked at a few coffee shops and gift stores including Import Bazaar.


Mary Ann’s most important times were spent with family and friends.She enjoyed sitting on the beach in Cape May, listening to Elvis Presley, and watching the Golden Girls. She was also an avid animal lover. Mary Ann was an active auxiliary member and did a lot of volunteer work for the Cape May VFW. She was also a member of the Villas Fishing Club.


She was loving and kind to all and will be greatly missed.


In lieu of flowers, a donation in Mary Ann’s memory to the Alzheimer's Association or Brookdale Senior Living would be appreciated.


Family and friends are invited to participate in her Funeral Mass on Monday, February 16th with the visitation starting at 10:00 and Mass starting at 11:00am at Parish of St. John Neumann Church of St. John of God located at 680 Town Bank Rd, Cape May, NJ 08204.
