Michael T Leo was born March 10 1964 in Hampton, VA to John "Jack" Leo and Dawn Chun Leo. After a few years in Boston and the arrival of Mike's brother Ed, the family settled in Bethesda MD. Every summer from a very young age Mike and his family traveled to Cape May, NJ to the family compound to spend the summer with his Gram and cousins and extended family. Every day was spent at Perry Street beach where Mike's deep love of the ocean began.
Mike spent most of his life as a commercial scalloper, where he made countless friendships up and down the coast. He always had a smile and a "devil may care" attitude. His love of fun and adventure was endless. He was our ray of sunshine.
Michael is survived by his loving girlfriend Cary Mason who he was introduced to 25 years ago by his cousin Kate. He will be forever missed by his younger brother Edward Leo (Paula), along with his nieces Ariele and Maura, nephew Brandon, his first cousin Kate and her sons, Ian, Riley, Seth and Creek, his stepmother Ruth Leo and her daughters, Amanda, Rachel and Patience as well as extended cousins Leo and their children.
Michael is preceded in death by his parents favorite Aunts Rita and Dolly, and Uncles Ed and Lester. Michael passed away Dec 16th after a sudden illness.
