Joan Anne "Joni" Herbert, 88, of Villas, NJ and formerly of Westmont, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, December 10, 2025. Born Feb 10, 1937, in Camden, NJ, Joni was the daughter of Joseph and Britannia Gibson.  

Joni started her employment with Bell Telephone in Collingswood, NJ and then was employed for 34 years at Shop-Rite in Rio Grande. Joni loved to travel and spent time with others.  After retiring, she enjoyed life to the fullest taking care and raising her three great grandchildren.

She is survived by her adoring daughter Joni Jr. (Tom), 3 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.  Services are private and at the convenience of the family. In honor of her mother and in lieu of flowers, Joni Jr. requests, "Please go out to eat, take a trip, go shopping and remember a moment you shared with Joni."
