Anthony J. Malone, 89, North Cape May, entered into eternal rest Friday, November 28th at Complete Care- Court House.
Born October 27, 1936 in Philadelphia PA, he was the son of the late Anthony and Agnes (Werner) Malone. After graduating from St. Albert’s High School, he joined the United States Navy.
Anthony had a strong belief in his faith, God and his Church. As a member of the Parish of St. John Nuemann Church of St. John of God, he volunteered his time as an usher and handyman.
He worked at the former Sears and Roebuck Department Store and later worked at the United States Treasury Department minting money. In his off time, he enjoyed fishing, playing pool, riding bicycles and cheering on his beloved Philadelphia Eagles.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters Dorothy Rubin, Leona Lamb, Bonnie Messick and Anna May Ginder.
Anthony will be forever loved and missed by his wife of 66 years, Carolyn (nee Chest); son Anthony; and nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 AM Tuesday, December 9 at the Parish of St. John Neumann Church of St. John of God 680 Town Bank Road North Cape May. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects from 10:30AM until the time of Mass. Interment will be held Saturday, 1PM December 13th at Resurrection Cemetery 5201 Hulmeville Road Bensalem PA 19020.
