Obituary of Karen Ann Poretto

Karen Ann Poretto of Villas, New Jersey, passed peacefully at home on Saturday, October 4, 2025.

Born June 5, 1965, in Somers Point, New Jersey, to Samuel and Patricia Poretto. Karen lived a quiet, gentle life marked by a deep affection for animals. She found joy in movies and television and over the years lovingly cared for many pets who became part of her family.

Karen is survived by her devoted life partner of 30 years, Roni Jo Hamann; her sister Patricia Casto (Brian); her brothers Anthony Poretto (Beverly) and Samuel Poretto Jr.; her daughter Kelly Morris (Charles Alexander); and her cherished grandchildren, Zoie and Myles Alexander

Becoming a grandmother in 2021 was one of Karen’s proudest and happiest milestones. She adored Zoie and Myles deeply and found purpose and joy in loving and supporting them. She would want everyone to know how much they meant to her.

At this time, no funeral or memorial services have been scheduled.
