Michael E. Bennett age 75 of Villas, NJ passed away peacefully at the home of his son in Abington Twp. PA on Tuesday October 7, 2025.

He was born in Philadelphia and resided in Pennsylvania for many years before moving to Villas NJ in 2002. He proudly served people in PA and NJ as manager of Wawa, Inc, after a variety of jobs. Before his retirement from Wawa in 2015, he earned many President’s club awards as manager.

 While in Pennsylvania Michael enjoyed playing and coaching baseball, basketball and bowling. Other hobbies included playing pinochle and toc with his family and friends, and watching Philly Sports Teams. Go Phillies.

 Michael was preceded in death by the love of his life, his wife of 46 years, Regina (2023), parents Edward Bennett and Elizabeth (Betty) O’Brien and sister Kathleen Markley.

He is survived by his four loving children and their spouses, Regina (Andrew) Gingrich, Sean (Donna) Bennett, Daniel (Jennifer) Bennett and Michelle (Steven) Hocker; brothers Edward (Patricia) Bennett and Matthew (Helen) Bennett; grandchildren Nicholas, Jonathan, Alexander, Christopher, William, Bradley, Jethro, Allison, Michael, Emily, Ryan and Danielle. He also leaves several nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11AM Friday, October 24 at the Parish of St. John Neumann Church of St. Raymond 800 Bayshore Road Villas NJ.  Family and friends are invited to pay their respects from 10-10:50AM at the church.  Interment will follow on the grounds of Cold Spring Cemetery.
