Mary Ricci, a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother, passed away peacefully on September 15, 2025, at the age of 81.
Born on July 2, 1944 in Philadelphia, PA to her parents Frank and Mary Dender. She dedicated her life to her family, always there with a listening ear. Her greatest joy was her family, especially her grandchildren, and great grandchildren who will forever cherish her memory.
Mary will be remembered for her remarkable will power. Her home was always open to friends and family. She had a special gift for aiding those in need working with the Ladies Order of the Hibernians Division 1, Cape May and Division 87, Philadelphia, Loyal Order of the Moose, the Elks Lodge and Lazarus House.
She is survived by her children; Mary Jean, Raymond and his wife Debra, Barbara and her husband Robert, Elizabeth and her husband Robert, Evelyn and her husband John; her grandchildren, Alex, Nicholas, Gianna, Alexis, C.J., Bridget, Ryan, Kyle, Katie, Patrick, Lauren and Shane and her brother, Fran. She is preceded in death by her parents, Francis and Mary; her siblings; Joseph Martin, Loretta Martin, Charles Dender, Richard Dender and William Dender .
Viewings will be held from 6-8PM Friday, September 19th and 9-10AM Saturday, September 20th at Evoy Funeral Homes, Inc. 3218 Bayshore Road, North Cape May, NJ 08204. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11AM Saturday, September 20th at Saint Anne's Roman Catholic Church, 2900 Pacific Ave., Wildwood, NJ 08260 with Interment to follow.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Lazarus House Ministries, Wildwood, NJ in her memory.
