William Charles Boucher, 65, passed away peacefully in the early hours of Sunday, August 24, 2025 surrounded by his wife Michele, and their three children, Brittaney, Billy, and Brendan.
Born on April 11, 1960, in Bryn Mawr, PA, Bill was the son of the late Michael Joseph Boucher and Mary Loreana Triplett. He was raised in Ardmore on Cricket Avenue as the 11th of 14 children and the 7th son. A natural athlete, he enjoyed many sports in his youth, with football being his greatest passion. Bill graduated from Lower Merion High School in 1979 before proudly serving his country in the United States Marine Corps.
Following his service, Bill began a long career as a Mortgage Loan Officer in the Mortgage Banking Industry. It was during this time that he met Michele, the love of his life. They married in 1990 and built their home in Cape May, NJ, where they raised their three children together.
Bill was deeply devoted to his family and community. He served as a volunteer fireman with Cape May Point, was a member of the Optimist Club, a Masonic Lodge Brother, a Civil War reenactor, a youth sports coach, and an official for track, football, and lacrosse. Above all, his greatest joy came from being “Pop-Pop” to his grandchildren: Bailey, Harper, and Brody.
Bill will be remembered for his warm heart, quick wit, and the way he brought laughter to everyone around him. To know Bill was to love him. He was the heart of the Boucher family — a husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather, and friend whose presence will be forever cherished.
He is survived by his wife Michele, their children Brittaney, Billy, and Brendan, and grandchildren Bailey, Harper, and Brody. He is also lovingly remembered by his siblings: Eugenia Burkholder (James), Eileen B. Keaveny (Thomas), Patricia Boucher (Jan Gregier), Kevin Boucher (Patricia), Daniel Boucher (Lisa), Francis Boucher, John Boucher, Mary Jo Boucher, Joseph Boucher, David Boucher, and Elizabeth Boucher; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, countless nieces and nephews, and his mother-in-law Georgette Denning. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Michael T (Kathy) Boucher and Richard (Diane) Boucher, and his brother-in-law Michael Denning.; father-in-law, Charles Denning.
Bill’s legacy of love, service, and laughter will live on in all who knew him.
