Anthony Alvaro, 72, of Del Haven, NJ, passed away peacefully at home on August 12, 2025.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, and raised in South Jersey, Anthony was the beloved son of the late Pasquale and Isabella Alvaro. He was predeceased by his siblings Pasquale Madonna, Joseph Madonna, and Isabella (Alvaro) McCarty. He is survived by his loving nieces and nephews, who will remember him with affection and gratitude for his quiet presence in their lives.

Anthony was a private and gentle man who found joy in life’s simple pleasures. He loved the calm and beauty of the Delaware Bay, appreciated the timeless lines of classic cars, and followed Philadelphia’s sports teams with steadfast loyalty.

Per his wishes, there will be no formal services. Anthony will be cremated, and his memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
