Evelyn M. Schultz, 73, of Villas, passed away Tuesday, July 22nd, 2025. Evelyn was born on October 2nd, 1951 in Woodbury, NJ. She was the daughter of Charles and Pearl (Feldman) DeVault. Evelyn graduated from Paulsboro High School, Class of 1970. She was retired from the Lower Township Senior Center in Villas. She was the owner of the Cup n Saucer Diner in Paulsboro, NJ. Evelyn and her late husband bought their house in Villas in 1993 as a vacation home and then she moved there permanently when he had passed in 2001. Before his passing and there after you could find them/her out and about often socializing with friends or hosting a gathering at their home. Evelyn was the life of the party. With her outgoing personality, infectious smile, and ability to always make everyone feel welcomed she made sure everyone always had a good time. She didn't care what time the party ended. Evelyn enjoyed life and loved spending time with family and friends. Her gentle spirit and kind heart brought her the love and respect from everyone that knew her. She loved playing her music. From the Oldies to country. Especially Phil Collins. Evelyn loved bowling, shooting darts, going to the casinos, and watching her Philadelphia Phillies. She was involved in many local organizations. The DAV, the Cape May Elks, the Villas Fishing Club, the VFW and was a past senior regent for the Women of the Moose, Chapter #538 in Paulsboro, NJ. She created so many special friendships and bonds throughout the years.

Evelyn is survived by her three children. Her loving son, Zachery Peiffer Sr. of West Deptford, NJ, Everett Peiffer of Wildwood, NJ, and Shantel Peiffer of Mullica Hill, NJ. Her five grandsons, Zachery Jr, Brett, Nicholas, Bryon, Dawson and one great granddaughter. Her siblings, Beverley Brown, Jill Wentz, Kay DeVault, Stephen DeVault, John DeVault, Charles DeVault Jr, Darlene Green, Sylvia Merkle. Several nieces and nephews, cousins, and two Aunts. Predeceased by her husband and the love of her life Frederick L. Schultz, brothers Donald DeVault Sr and William Myers, sister Lorraine Hughes, and nephew Donald DeVault Jr.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, July 29th at 2PM on the grounds of Cold Spring Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Evoy Funeral Homes, Inc. 3218 Bayshore Road North Cape May NJ 08204 has been entrusted with arrangements.
