Josephine DeLong, 75, Villas, entered an eternal rest, peacefully at home on July 13th, 2025 surrounded by family.

She was born July 29th,1949 in Abington, Pennsylvania. Josephine became a 30 year resident of Cape May County. She worked as part of the administrative team for Wildwood’s Board of Education.

In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening, sewing, ceramics, as well as watching crime shows. More than anything, she loved to spend time with her children and great grandchildren.

Josephine was preceded in death by her loving husband of over 45 years, Anthony V. DeLong (October 7, 2023), her son, Vince and daughter, Michelle.

As well as both of her parents Salvatore and Clarice (Bernhard) DiMartino.

She is survived by her 10 children Anthony husband of Patty, Nick husband of Katie, Angel wife of Chaz, Vicky, Mike husband of Erica, Ben husband of Lisa, Joe husband of Erin, Andy husband of Adria, Jimmy husband of Christie, and Jason fiancée of CarolAnn. She is also survived by 27 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Saturday, July 19th from 10:00am to 11:30am at Evoy Funeral Home, located at 3218 Bayshore Road, North Cape May, NJ. 08204

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00pm at the Parish of St. John Neumann Church of St. John of God on 680 Town Bank Road, North Cape May, NJ. 08204.

Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, the family wishes that donations be made to the Shriners Children Hospital. A charity that Josephine held near and dear to her heart.
