Mary Lou McCarraher Obituary

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our beloved mother Mary Lou McCarraher. She went to join the angels and her cherished mother in heaven on July 8, 2025 at the age of 66. Words often fail to capture the profound impact a mother leaves on her family, yet we strive to honor her memory with the depth of our love and gratitude.

She was born in Philadelphia on April 23rd, 1959. Years later she relocated to Cape May County where she raised her beautiful family; sons Albert, Nicholas and Bruno. Mary Lou was a dedicated State employee at the State Developmental Center for many years.

Mary Lou was more than a name, she was the heart of the family, a beacon of warmth and unwavering support. She cherished spending time with her family, creating memories that will linger in the hearts of her loved ones forever. Her laughter, kindness, and nurturing spirit were the threads that wove her family together.

Her legacy lives on through her beloved sons and her treasured grandchildren – Albert, Aiden, Maddelyn, Adrielle, Evelyn, Roselyn and Braelyn. Each of them carries a piece of her spirit reflected in their smiles, their values, and the love they share. Her remaining siblings include Gregory, Nadine and Edward Fletcher who she loved dearly.

As we say goodbye, let us remember her not just in sorrow but in celebration of the beautiful life she lived. May her love continue to guide and inspire us, just as it always has.
