Cynthia Ann Numbers Obituary

Cynthia A. Numbers (Baker), 65, Woodbine, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, June 27, with her family by her side after a short battle with Secondary Peritoneal Carcinomatosis Cancer.


Born in Philadelphia on November 13, 1959, to the late Fredrick and Arlene (Fleming) Baker.


After graduating from high school, she attended nursing school and became an LPN in 1978.


She eventually moved to Cape May County in 1983 and held various nursing jobs until she later found herself with Caring Inc. Her hard work, dedication and love for her clients quickly earned her the position as Administrator in Wildwood NJ facility. She always had a passion for helping people even in her dying hour. She was still thinking of work and trying to assist the nurse.


She is predeceased by her parents Fredrick and Arlene Baker along with her brother Fredrick (Freddy Jr.) Baker.


Cynthia will forever be loved and missed by her husband of 40 years, Francis Numbers; three daughters Ashley (Chris) Houser, Arlie (Jim) Trunfio, and Kerri Schrader. She is the loving Mommom of nine beautiful grandchildren, Ryan, Chase, Keaghan, Frank, Kenley, Luke, Mason, Riley and Finnlee. Cindy is also survived by her sister Kellianne Fisher and many nieces, nephew, great nieces and great nephew.


Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, July 2 at Noon at Evoy Funeral Home 3218 Bayshore Road North Cape May NJ 08204. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects from 10AM until the time of service. Interment will be held privately and at the convenience of the family on the grounds of Cold Spring Cemetery. In lieu of sending flowers we ask you to consider donating to SOCS Survivors of Cancer, Inc. P.O. Box 266 Wildwood NJ 08260.
