Obituary of Henry W Pendrak

Henry W. Pendrak, 92, Cape May, entered into eternal rest Saturday, June 14th at his residence.
Born July 23, 1932 in Philadelphia PA, he was the son of the late Ignatius and Teofila (Marcinek) Pendrak.
He proudly served in the US Army as a medic during the Korean War. He married the love of his life Loretta Mitchell on October 18, 1952, in Philadelphia. He retired from the Leonard Corp. where he was a supervisor. After retirement, he and his wife Loretta relocated to Cape May County and he worked as a handyman at the Jersey Cape Motel.
Henry was a member of St. John Neumann RC Parish Church of St. John of God and also the American Legion.
He will be deeply missed by his wife of 73 years, Loretta; sons Paul Pendrak husband of Patricia, David Pendrak husband of Margaret “Peg” and Henry Pendrak husband of Donna. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and several great grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and Kathy Hudgins who cared for both Henry and Loretta for the last two years.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Joseph; sisters Frances, Christina and Theresa.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 AM Tuesday, June 24 at the Parish of St. John Neumann Church of St. John of God 680 Town Bank Road North Cape May. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects from 10AM until 10:50AM. Interment with military honors will be held on the grounds of the Cape May County Veteran’s Cemetery.
The family would prefer donations be made in Henry’s memory to the American Veteran’s Association.
